The long and short of it is that I don't truely know how to cap the
extrusions, so I put a TextField3D in front of and behind the
extrusion and then put them all together in an ObjectContainer3D.  It
does the job, but its gonna take someone with stronger 3d math skills
than me to truely cap the extrusions.
