Hi there,

I'm new to away3d and the forum. Hello! I'm currently playing with
away3d with view to creating a box designer tool and having good fun.

One of the requirements is that the visual look as good as possible.
I'm pretty pleased with my test so far but I'm asking for suggestions
for improvement - mainly regarding texturing and lighting (the box
model is just for testing)

I've made a simple box out of 5 planes. The combo box on the left
loads in a image (the x2 = twice the resolution of the first).

The image is applied to the model using a WhiteShadingBitmapMaterial.
If 'Toggle Normal Map' is selected I attempt to create a normal map
from the source image and apply it using a Dot3BitmapMaterial

If anyone could offer suggestions for improvements that'd be great.

full src with flashdevelop project file is here:

Many thanks!
