[away3d] View.clipping = rectangle clipping ?? Confining Away3D view to a certain width x height?

Hi,

I have a viewing area of 500 x 1000. and swf size at 100% x 100% This gives
a result of a 500 x 1000 image aligned top left of my swf if resize browser
to 2850 x 1600.

I am trying to get a clipping area of 500x1000 but the clipping always
appears to be more than the viewing area using the following:

var viewingWidth:Number = 500;
var viewingHeight:Number = 1000;

view.clipping = new RectangleClipping({
minX: -viewingWidth/2,
minY: -viewingHeight/2,
maxX: viewingWidth/2,
maxY: viewingHeight/2
});

Results in Away3D being shown outside of the viewing area. I need away3d to
confined to 500x1000. Any ideas on how to do this?
