Recently a new Stardust team member from Japan just released an
extension for Away3D and Away3D Lite.

Here's an example he posted on WonderFL.

Although the examples are not using Away3D, the class usages are the
same. To test the examples with Away3D, just swap the particle handler
object and a couple initializer objects specific to Away3D.
