Hey All, I though I'd share a recently finished project which used Away3d Lite. It allows a user to rotate a model of a the Webb Space Telescope and zoom in to learn abouts its components.
http://www.nasa.gov/externalflash/webb3d/ We experimented with several libraries before choosing Away3d Lite, specifically because of the speed but also the interface of the HoverCamera3d was a breeze to work with and edit as required. Though we ended up altering the library some it was amazingly painless all things consider. We specifically made a point to have away3d written in the NASA press release as we're incredibly thankful for this group and all the work put in by the away3d team. thanks, Kris Alien Communication http://aliencom.net
