Theres an example 3ds in
Away3D\trunk\fp10\Examples\Away3D\as\src\Advanced_SaltFlatsFerrari.as
Use the
Away3D\trunk\fp10\Away3D
branch with that.

Make sure the path to the 3ds is correct.
