I've just noticed that Uli writes tonnes of little finicky patches for internals that people don't think about and optimization. He also catches/fixes a lot of subtle bugs this way. I find that it's very uncommon for someone to spend so much effort and time fixing up little internal bits that most people aren't aware of as problem-causing. Thanks a bunch, Uli :)
