Details - I'm running awesome 3.4 on ArchLinux (from package)
mywibox is on the bottom here, and when I would open either the mainmenu or the
tasklist menu, there would be a gap between the top of the wibox and the bottom
of the menu.
attached is a patch that corrects this.
the patch should be pretty obvious, all the calculations are performed (in set_coords) considering
that "i_h = menu.h + menu.theme.border_width" ... where did "menu.h -
menu.theme.border_width" in show() come from, I dunno.
