I'm seeing the same (or similar) problem. I can usually restart awesome a few
times right after starting, but after 5-10 minutes any attempt to restart
causes a crash. I'm fairly new to gdb, but willing to jump through whatever
hoops to get you the necessary info.
Find gdb bt and bt full attached.
