This crash is inside glibc and I think even before any of awesome's code is 
executed.
The backtrace points fingers at the dynamic linker in /lib/ld-linux.so.2 while 
it tries to relocate some symbols. (ranges[1].lazy in  _dl_relocate_object 
looks bugous to me, from my understanding of lazy bindings).

Could you find out how exactly rpmlint calls awesome (strace -f -e execve 
rpmlint awesome) and its environment variables (cat /proc/$(pidof 
awesome)/environ while gdb prints a backtrace) when the linker crashes?
