Details - Clicking a menu item does not send back the item label to the corresponding function
here is a very simple patch to apply to menu.lua from awesome 3.4.2: I'm now able to load my mpd playlists from a menu.
Another way to achieve the same thing without modifying awful might exist, but
I was not smart enough to find it
