Hi Uli,

I appreciate the interest, thanks. I just tried some things with Guitar Pro 5 and I have mixed results...
Here's what I did:
1) I opened Guitar Pro 5 on tag 3 and undocked the "Dynamic" and "Notation"
widgets from the toolbar
2) I switched from tag 3 to tag 4 and back - those two floating windows were
visible only on tag 3 - ok
3) I undocked the "Fretboard" widget and moved the main window to tag 4 - now
what happened is the floatings windows remained visible on tag 3 - so main window is on
tag 4, floaters on tag 3...
4) I switched to different tags to see what happens - now the "Fretboard" window still acts as
described above - visible on all tags, no matter what I do; on the other hand, two widgets
"Dynamic" and "Notation" still stick to the tag 3 no matter where I move the main window
(which tag)

So the result is - two different behaviors of floating windows appear here. One
behavior keeps the windows visible on all tags, where the other keeps them
visible only on the tag where originally undocked from the parent window.

Aside from that, I have another "funny" feature here :). If I put my mouse
cursor just one pixel above the floating windows that stick to the tag where undocked,
and then move it down, they move one pixel to the right and one pixel to the bottom. If I
keep my cursor going down with the window at speed of exactly one pixel per input event.
I can push the window to the bottom of the screen.

All the behavior is replicable - if I dock the floaters and the undock again on
another tag, same thing happens on that tag. Or if I close and open Guitar Pro
again...

I'm able to provide you with more information, but I'd suggest to discuss
what's going on off of this forum. I think I could host some VNC server session
here so you could even see it happening online...

Regards,
David
