The following task has a new comment added:

FS#769 - applications are killed when all windows don't fit on the screen in
tiled mode

I'm not sure if it's a related issue, but I'm also experiencing that sometimes clients
simply "disappear" after restarting awesome (i.e., they are not killed, but are
not visible on any tag either). Apparently, it only happens when
gnome-volume-control-applet or nm-applet are running (but there may be more). It can be
reproduced with the following (using awesome version 7d1fb8bcf5fc):

1. gnome-volume-control-applet&

2. go to another tag; start xterm&

3. go back to the first tag
4. restart awesome (you might have to do this a couple of times, this exact
amount seems to vary)

5. The xterm window on the other tag should now have disappeared.

For the record, I also tried to reproduce the problem following the recipe from
lotus, but was unable to do this.

Cheers,
YVES
