FS#776 - when using colors: error, cannot allocate color '#aaaaaa' User who did this - Uli Schlachter (psychon)
---------- Uhm, which awesome version is that? The warn() call is in line 264 in current master and 3.4, your warning mentions line 265. Also, could you run awesome under xtrace and attach the result? (If you want to, you can also run it through the following command and find out why allocating that color fails: grep Alloc | grep Color) I'm not completely sure about how xcb works here, but I'd expect the generic error handler to get to handle that error later on and print sth. @jd: When one passes in NULL for returning the error in an xcb, is the error just discarded or later on handled by the main loop? Uhm, on re-reading your report: The error message only appears *after* you ctrl-C'd awesome? ---------- More information can be found at the following URL: http://awesome.naquadah.org/bugs/index.php?do=details&task_id=776#comment2015 You are receiving this message because you have requested it from the Flyspray bugtracking system.
