A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below. User who did this - Mr.Magne (Mr.Magne)
Attached to Project - awesome
Summary - client.struts() always return an empty table
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Core
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To - Operating System - All
Severity - Low
Priority - Normal
Reported Version - 3.4.8
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - I think this function is broken (but it is possible I don't know how
to use it).

Step to reproduce:
set Strut properties to a client on screen 1: xprop -f _NET_WM_STRUT 32c -set
_NET_WM_STRUT "1,0,0,0"
in awesome-client: for i in ipairs(client.get(1)) do
print(client.get(1)[i].name);  print(#client.get(1)[i]:struts()) end
consult .xsession-errors, it always prints 0

I also doesn't work with _NET_WM_STRUT_PARTIAL
