thanks for the patch, looks almost good to me. :-) (Only read it, didn't
actually try it out)
Biggest problem that I have so far are table.update and table.merge.
require("awful.menu") causes these entries to be added the global "table" array
and I don't really like that at all. Can't those be turned into local functions (or be removed?
Especially table.update doesn't seem too useful to me).
Also, I don't really like that :set_fg() thingie, but meh, I guess I can live
with it.
