The following task has a new comment added:

FS#980 - JUCE Toolkit and awesome: weird behaviours
User who did this - Uli Schlachter (psychon)

----------
visibility: Could you get me the xprop output of such a window? This does
indeed sound like a bug in awesome.

mobility: This might be related to the first problem. Does resizing work?

menus:

Urgh. Just that xprop output makes baby jesus cry. Just a random quote from
ICCCM, part 4.1.2.5:

This [WM_CLASS] property must be present when the window leaves the Withdrawn
state and may be changed only while the window is in the Withdrawn state.

Thanks to that, it's not really easy to identify those windows. You can try a rule with
name = "menu", but IMHO that kind of rule is ugly.

(Also, from a quick look, _NET_WM_TYPE_POPUP_MENU would fit better than
_NET_WM_TYPE_COMBO)
(Oh and let's not talk about that undefined atom error. Could someone tell them
that you should only write a toolkit if you actually know X11.)
