I have same problem.
I using this command to change lang:
setxkbmap -model pc105 -layout us,ru -option 'grp:caps_toggle,grp_led:scroll' -variant ',winkeys'
And when i switched to ru i get problems with:
mod4+r not typing.
mouse tag switching won't work while i don't change keyboard layout back to en.
