Awesome WM. It's really very nice software.
Moving from a menu selection to a sub menu diagonally can cause the current sub
menu selection to disappear.
One tries to avoid it, by moving the mouse strictly horizontally. It makes for
bad user experience using menus.
This is because the menus respond instantly to where ever the mouse is, rather
than allowing a delay to avoid the sub menu
disappearing during the movement.
A recent article describes a simple technique to both make the menus responsive
whilst also avoiding this problem.
