Details - With no systray icons/programs, xprop reports the awesome panel as
"dock" correctly:

But when starting a program that adds a tray icon, the whole panel gets the
properties of the new app:

I've noticed this when trying to make compton not draw shadows on the panel.
This seems to happen with all tray icons (dropbox, clipit etc). The one started
last will define the properties.
