Details - I'm trying to make it possible to reorder tags using a mouse. I'm not
sure how to find out over which tag the pointer is right now, but I tried using
awful.widget.taglist.gettag and discovered it's broken. Probably since Oct 6,
2010.
I'm using awesome 3.5.4, but I see the same problem on git/master. The function
looks like this:
function taglist.gettag(widget)
return common.tagwidgets[widget]
end
And the "common.tagwidgets" are not there.
I'd be happy to work on this in my spare time. I'd appreciate some guidelines
on how to fix this. I don't understand if and how widgets are associated with
tags or vice versa.
