A new Flyspray task has been opened. Details are below.

User who did this - Iwan Gabovitch (qubodup)

Attached to Project - awesome
Summary - setxkbmap switching breaks input in run prompt
Task Type - Bug Report
Category - Core
Status - Unconfirmed
Assigned To -
Operating System - Linux
Severity - Low
Priority - Normal
Reported Version - 3.5.5
Due in Version - Undecided
Due Date - Undecided
Details - On Arch Linux, if I run

    setxkbmap de

then I can use the run prompt as usual.

If I run

    setxkbmap us,de

or

    setxkbmap de,us

and use LALT + LSHIFT to switch to the second layout, I can use Mod4 + r to
open the run prompt but I cannot use the backspace key or escape key for
example, "hello world!" results in "ħ€łłøłø¶łð¡".

Because of this, sometimes my run prompt looks like in the attached image.

One or more files have been attached.
