I myself completely removed that binding, as i also kept hitting it
accidentially. When I want to log out, i just kill my X server via
Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. If you want to keep the binding, you could modify the
function it points to so that it
- creates a floating wibox with a textbox in it prompting you to confirm
(like "Really quit? (y/N)")
- run a keygrabber which checks for keyboard presses and only exit awesome if
'y' was pressed
