Hello,
I just would like to know if i update from 3.2 to 3.3rc2, do I need
to changes configuration and/or theme? If my current conf work
fine on 3.3 i'll upgrade, if not i'll wait for a day when I have time
to review everything.
Thanks
I recently made the switch from 3.2 -> 3.3rc2. ?And yes, the
configuration files do need to be changed a bit. ?Most of the changes
were just updating the way key commands are defined. ?Using vimdiff made
the switch very easy.
As for the theme, the new theme is configured via Lua. ?However, the
options to change are practically the same as in the old file. ?Again,
vimdiff will ease this change.
I tried it here but i got this error when i tried to start awesome:
/home/garga/.config/awesome/rc.lua:577: bad argument #-1 to 'keys'
(key expected, got table)
W: awesome: systray_cleanup:112: error getting systray atom
E: awesome: main:412: cannot open display
On line 577 I have this:
root.keys(globalkeys)
In any case, attached follow my rc.lua and my theme.lua
Thanks
Check line 413 and 414.
