Do not stack multiple wibox. Instead create one wibox that spawns multiple rows, with the help of widget layouts.

...the following will become obvious to you; If before I had two wibox each high 14px I will now create one top wibox with height 28px. I will then make use of not only horizontal widget layouts but also vertical widget layouts to position the widgets along this widget box.
