Well, nevermind. I had already built a new config file based on the default one which comes with 3.4.3, but apparently there was some problem with one of the keybindings I copied over from my old config.
It was in the right format, and there wasn't a syntax error, since awesome was starting up, but I guess root.keys didn't like what it was getting passed, because it was completely ignoring all of the bindings. So, with that taken out, key bindings are working again for me. Now my only remaining complaint is that I have to port tabulous or find a port someone has written. Apparently I'm the only one who still uses it :P On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 11:52 AM, Paul Bonser <[email protected]> wrote: > Hey everyone, > > I just upgraded my machine to Lucid, and with that, Awesome was > upgraded to 3.4.3 from multiverse, from 3.3.4 which I think I built > the .deb for myself (I've been putting off upgrading because something > always goes wrong when I do). > > Anyway, I'm having a problem, which I swear I had before after another > upgrade in the past.
