Thank you for such a quick and succint response. However, my
question has spawned another one, and that is:
How to add or change a key binding?
As an example, in my local rc.lua, I added to the following code:
awful.key({ modkey }, "F2", function (c) c:kill() end)
It passes the syntax check, but the binding is not committed.
(I presume not added to globalkeys)
Therefore, it follows that I need to see example code for changing
the binding and for your example above, I need to see example code
for adding a binding.
I have the lua manual for 5.1 here and also the
Ierusalimschy book - 'programming in lua' 2003 edition.
