Hey everyone,
I was messing around with my rc.lua and wanted to change the font awesome
uses. When I did that by setting theme.font after beautiful.init to either
a different font or a larger one, I get jumping letters in my taglist.
I have attached screenshots to show what I mean. This happens when I tried
setting the font to terminus (almost any size it seems), the default font
(sans 8) to , for example, 12 and when I tried a different font (can't
remember which one, unfortunately), they didn't jump sideways, but kind-of
fell down.
I also tried using the default awesome config from arch (by calling
awesome -c /etc/xdg/awesome/rc.lua) and then running awesome-client and
setting the font to a bigger size and that also made it happen.
I'm using awesome 3.4.8.
So what should I do? Is this a bug in awesome, or shouldn't I be setting
the theme.font property after the theme has loaded?
Thanks in advance for any advice or comments you can give me.
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. However, when you create a wibox,
awful.wibox uses "font_height * 1.5" as the wibox' height. When the font is
later changed, the wibox height won't be adjusted.
No idea if this explains anything.
Cheers,
Uli
