Hi,

I tried several times to find someone who uses obvious widgets in
#awesome, but with no luck..and no further examples in the wiki.

volume_alsa, basic_mpd(*) are working fine. But how do I include mem or
cpu for example?

obvious.cpu() in the same way as volume_alsa -> empty space.
obvious.cpu().widget (found in debian #584996) -> larger empty space
(and doesn't make much sense to me, since there are no exported
functions in init.

Do I miss some lua libs? I had to add luasocket for mpd to work, but
this was mentioned in the library's header.

(*) basic_mpd should respect MPD_HOST and other mpd vars, maybe include
that in lib/mpd. 'or os.getenv("MPD_HOST")' does the trick for me.

I'm using debian testing on one computer and arch linux with obvious
from git v3.4.10 on the other.
