Dear all, How can I set the background color for the wibox/status bar in awesome via beautiful? I have tried for example
theme.status_fg_normal theme.statusbar_fg_normal theme.wibox_fg_normal But none of these seem to be the right trigger. As my configuration is now, I have theme.bg_normal = "#aaaaaa11" theme.bg_focus = "#aaaaaa44" in order to set the status bar color. However, this sets the same properties for everything else in the window manager which makes a lot of things illegible (e.g. 'notify-send' messages) and my awesome menu. I have found a workaround by setting theme.menu_bg_normal and theme.menu_bg_focus; this helps with the menus but not other cases. Is there no way I can set the wibox bg color?
