now that I'm seeing this, I've just remembered that I am having troubles with this widget.

I put this in my rc.lua, and it does not work; if I don't define the widget, I mean, if I don't put "obvious.volume_alsa()" in my rc.lua my config works, but if I put that line, awesome doesn't work.

~/.xsession-errors is giving me NOTHING :(

I use debian sid, awesome 3.4.10. It fails with obvious from git and from awesome-extra package.

Am I doing something wrong?
