Actually, the -f didn't work. I also tried adding this in the end of my
rc.lua:
-- Use nitrogen to set the wallpaper
os.execute("nitrogen --set-scaled
~/.config/awesome/themes/default/background.png")
But it didn't work, and the background is still non-stretched (and I did
quit and re-open awesome).
