Hi, I was hoping someone might be able to help me figure out how to
resize Eclipse under awesome.

I'm running ubuntu 11.10 with gnome 3. I have awesome (from the
apt-get repositories) version 3.4.10-1. I'm using the open-jdk version
of java 6.

When i start eclipse up, it works fine- no gray screen or anything.
I'm using the wname trick as well. The only problem is, i absolutely
cannot resize the Eclipse main window using the right mouse button. I
can move it around using the left mouse button just like any other
window, i can move it from one workspace to another, i can minimize it
etc. i just can't resize it. If i change my layout, all other windows
respect it, but not Eclipse. Interestingly, if under eclipse, i go to
Window->New Window, it creates a new editor window that is not
maximized and obeys layout switching. Of course, the problem is that
eclipse gives me no way to close these windows once i open them. Going
to the taskbar on Gnome and clicking on Close Window doesn't work.

The problem happens with both Eclipse 3.6 and the new 3.7.

Has anyone had this happen ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bert
