I'm having trouble to get medit running always on my desired screen and
tag. The rule is the same like my geany rule. I'm using them both to
edit files from within my file manager on the same screen and tag.
{ rule = { class = "Gnome-commander" }, properties = { tag = tags[2][4] } },
{ rule = { class = "geany" }, properties = { tag = tags[2][4] } },
{ rule = { class = "medit" }, properties = { tag = tags[2][4] } },
xprop for medit:
WM_CLASS(STRING) = "medit", "medit"
WM_ICON_NAME(STRING) = "medit - /home/andyrtr/nfs/tmp/rc.lua"
It randomly opens on the desired tag but and is focused under
the mouse but runs on the other screen. So I have to Mod4+o to move it over.
Sometimes it opens on the proper screen but pops up and is running on a
different
tag.
Any idea?
