Ok, so I didn't reply to the email as it went away after a reboot
without doing any configuration changes. Weird.
But, today I have started to get that problem again.

I observed that every time there is a image in the topbar, I get white
strip around it. Notice the white strip around "dot" in Browsing(and
conversation), around the firefox icon, the icon that shows that a
client is floating. My rc.conf is pretty basic and can be seen here
https://github.com/shadyabhi/awesome-config .
As Dariusz mentioned to look into spacing, I don't think that it's the
issue because it's happening with all images & not only with widgets.
Anybody else having the same issue?
