This does not work for me. It never happens on my home PC while it has
always happened at work. Both running Debian unstable and the same
awesome configuration.

Home:
 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Cedar 
PRO [Radeon HD 5450/6350]

Work:
 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV620 
LE [Radeon HD 3450]
