I've been using Awesome (independent of Gnome as a xsession) on Ubuntu 13.04/13.10 and now 14.04 for a year now. I've not been able to use the bluetooth under Awesome. It appears automatically in the Unity interface.
Ubuntu moved from the applet to an indicator-service structure in 13.10. Bluetooth is brought up in Unity by running a bluetoothd daemon and an indicator service for bluetooth. The icon appears on the systray. Has any one got this working on Awesome? I can run the daemon from commandline. When I launch the indicator-service, nothing happens. -- Mohan Sundaram -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
