Hi, guys!
I've got a small compilation issue here. After having downloaded the
latest stable version of awesome, I tried to compile it on debian, but
it doesn't see some essential libraries; Look here at the output of the
"make" command:
make

the issue consists in the fact that I already have the required
libraries installed, but with another name, like - libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0
instead of gdk-pixbuf-2.0, or, more generally, fancy_library_name
->libfancy_library_name[0-9]
Also, if the solution of this problem implies too much of a hassle,
could you please tell me if there is a substantial difference between
the 3.5.6 and the 3.5.5-1? I got a .deb of the latter.
Thank you very much for your help.
