I don't think that a "twin view" of a window is possible with Awesome. You probably have to look with Xorg, but I even think that it's not possible at all.
As you have only 2 screens, you have 3 choices: - First, use a binding which switch the tag of the not focused screen - Second, use a different modifier key for each screen - Lastly, use the key grabber. Some users notified me that "Hi guys" is a gender-neutral introduction. So I'm sorry for my mis-translation, and you can stick on it !
