Hello,
It seems that your problem is the same as described here:
http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/awt-dev/2015-March/009166.html
and it is unrelated to JDK-8074668

dialog boxes, etc. as described in original problem report.

TRIED THIS SUGGESTED WORKAROUND
JDK-8074668 [macosx] Mac 10.10: Application run with splash screen has focus
issues

Workaround: Launch javaws using the -Xnosplash option.

3. User repeated steps to launch our application and saved JNLP file
4. Terminal, javaws -Xnosplash /Users/sto-mbp02/Downloads/SmartReview\(1\).jnlp
Expected result=Application launches with interface features like menus, dialog
boxes, etc.
Actual result=Application launches missing user interface features like menus,
dialog boxes, etc. as described in original problem report.
