Hi can someone help intorduce me to making sure my reports or extraction scripts can run in batch mode.
If say I have a sales report that the user can print anytime and they are prompted for a date range (or can enter via filter criteria) but I also want to use this report at the end of every month to be a batch report that gets run automatically and runs from the 1st to last day of the current month. What do I need to do so that I can submit this report as a re-occuring batch job that does not require me to have to fill in the dates myself? Is this at all possible with std Axapta? Looking at std Axapta I get the impression I will somehow need to check in my report whether it is running as a batch job and if so set the dates via code, if this is the case how do I check whether a report is being run via batch?
