Hi all!

I am trying to figure out which version of Oracle 9i I should use
for Axapta 3.0SP3 or SP4. I sent a question to Microsoft and the
answer I got was a link to the german MBS site:
http://www.microsoft.com/germany/businesssolutions/axapta/systemanfor
derungen.mspx
The site is in german but it states that the Oracle version should
be 9.2.0.2.
BUT: A little bit above you can read: Microsoft Axapta 3.0 Service
Pack 2

Therefore I phoned them today and asked about SP3 and SP4. The
answer was: there has been no change which Oracle version to use, so
it is still 9.2.0.2.

Well, I was googling afterwards and found this site from MBS Russia:
http://www.microsoft.com/Rus/BusinessSolutions/Solutions/Axapta/Scali
ng/Platform.mspx

Here, at the bottom of the site you can read in the "3.0 SP3" line:
9.2.0.4 !!!!

Well, my russian is not too good :-) but I would say that this MBS
office says you can use Oracle 9.2.0.4 for Axapta 3.0 SP3.

Questions to all of you now:
1. Did you ever get any information about which Oracle version to
use for Axapta 3.0 SP3 and Axapta 3.0 SP4?
2. Which version of Axapta and Oracle are you running ???

Thank you all and best regards
Helmut Wimmer
