To stop the flickering, grab this file:
http://axim.openfbo.com/pxaregs-axim

Put it in /bin on your axim filesystem. Then run:

pxaregs-axim LCCR3_PCD 2

That sets the Pixel Clock divisor on the LCCR3 register. This can be
put into a kernel header file to initialize the LCCR3 register for the
axim PDAs. Unfortunately, using the pxaregs-axim command, if the
display goes to sleep it will flicker again when it comes back. Not
sure if fixing this in the kernel will make it permanent...

Boots fine on my axim x50v, screen flickers a lot as previously mentioned,
touchscreen calibration is a bit off, and not responding very well as I
sometime have to tap the screen many times for it to respond press a button
or drag something.
Sleeping doesn't work, but adjusting brightness works.

I would definitely move to linux if above issues were fixed and wifi and
bluetooth worked.
Being able to boot directly to linux would also be very cool.
But sound isn't a big priority for me really.

I'm trying to learn coding, but I can only be called a n00b at best. Maybe I
can start contributing in a year or so :P

Anyway, I really appreciate the work you guys have done. This is totally
awesome.
