Dear Gaby,

last night, I've managed to compile silver/trunk. I've made a few changes to makefiles and some pamphlets in order to get rid of the problems.

Now the "re-copying of the .svn directory"-problem is no problem anymore.

There were some problems with pamphlet files, in particular bookvol1 and some others.

I really wonder what silver/trunk actually is. It is not Gold, since that "just works" and would not have latex problems.

Tim, could you put your "gold-to-be" branch to the public. I strongly believe that it should be *identical* with silver/trunk. You need not care about the SVN archive, but it would be necessery to **see** your latest development even if it does not *just work*. It is totally clear for all developers that Silver does not 100% have the "just works" predicate.

Gaby, I have now seen that there is a branch build-improvements. Currently, I worked on the trunk, but perhaps you tell me it is better if I commit my modifications to 'build-improvements'.

Gaby, Antoine, Tim, could you also add a few lines to the bottom of

Thank you.

Ralf
