Thanks, Eitan! I downloaded tex4ht-1.0.2006_08_19_2227.tar.gz from the above mentioned page and tar xzvf'd it. But now I am "scratching my head" ... how do I update my installation? On http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~gurari/TeX4ht/mn.html it says: "Installation ... The easiest way to establish an up to date port is to download an installed distribution of the system, and refresh it with the files provided here." I also looked at: http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~gurari/TeX4ht/mn-unix.html#QQ1-22-38 but I'm still lost. Hmmmm... I already have an installed distribution (created from tex4ht-1.0.2004_07_12_2015-0.fdr.1.rh90.i386.rpm, I believe). I have $ which htlatex /usr/bin/htlatex $ which tex4ht /usr/bin/tex4ht and ls /usr/share/tex4ht dbcontext ht mztex teimex uxhtex xhmex ... etc. In what I downloaded I see: $ cd ~/tex4ht-1.0.2006_08_19_2227 $ ls bin src temp texmf Now what? What to do? The contents of temp do not match the description in mn-unix.html above. How do I update the stuff in /usr/bin, etc.? Do you have any recipe for upgrading my installation that a lesser human being might be able to follow? ;) Sorry for being dense. I would really appreciate any help or pointers. Thanks. Regards, Bill Page.
