Ooops. Wrong list. This discussion should go to axiom-legal which was created for the express purpose of keeping legal issues out of the developer list. Please use that list instead. I had an email discussion with Richard Stallman about the issue of using GPL and BSD licensed programs together in a non-commmercial setting. His statement is that the two licenses are compatible and he sees no license problems that arise in either direction. That said, I beg of you not to continue a legal discussion in the developer list.
