Oh, absolutely. All the wrapper program does is dump backtrace 
information. The BUG script would add that information to the body
of the email but the user would have to write and send the email bug.
There is no magic, just some automation of the tedious bits.

There is bug automation in firefox? Interesting. Perhaps I can use
the same mechanism in the new firefox frontend.
