Carsten, I recently ran across a thesis by Javier Vazquez-Trejo on Karr's indefinite summation, supervised by Victor Adamchik at Carnegie-Mellon.
William Sit mentioned your paper and I see you've implemented the algorithm in Mathematica. I'm interested in developing the Karr's algorithm in Axiom.
