Henrik:
You can add the location attribute, you'll need to experiment to find the 
correct position (start, mid or end). 

Yukio:
I agree that it will look neater by simply using the debug="" attribute on the 
compiler.
However, we need to be careful that by doing this change we don't leave any 
occurances of  ... if="debug     or    unless="debug"   as these test for the 
presence of a property, not it's value, so will give false positives.
