+1 for removing versioned docs from the svn.
Docs corresponding to the release can be found at the corresponding tag
in the svn.
We'll keep the latest in the svn.
For the web site I would say that we need to support older versions and
hence we might keep docs for older versions as well ( we need to come up
with a good plan for this).
Do we really need to do this for the web site? I thought users can look for the docs that comes with the release package.

Also, as of now, the latest release is the best, so it is always advisable to have the latest release. So we have to discourage users from using the older versions. May be this change in the future, after 1.0 release, hopefully ;-)

Hi All,
I am not clear on the rationale for having relese folders of docs
by release.
I prefer if we have only the latest version in the svn

, else it is going to stuff up the svn unnecessarily.

If a user wants the set of docs for an older release, he/she can
get it from the release anyway as we pack those with the release. So I
see no point having multiple versions in the svn, I suggest we remove
the release folder from docs.
